Lowlands (around 1,500 meters): The temperatures are relatively warm, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F). Nights are cooler, especially in the dry season.
Higher Elevations (around 2,500 meters and higher): Temperatures can drop significantly, especially at night. Daytime temperatures average between 15°C to 20°C (59°F to 68°F), and at night, they can fall below 10°C (50°F).

By Road: From Arusha town to Ngongongare gate, it is about 32 km.
By Air: It is about 40 km from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
