Booking and Payment
- Booking confirmation for adventure hikes, tours, and safaris is subject to availability and must be made in advance.
- Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by participants:
Refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:
- More than 30 days before the scheduled hike or tour: Full refund minus any non-refundable fees.
- 15–30 days before the scheduled hike or tour: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before the scheduled hike or tour: No refund.
Cancellations made by Kilimanjaro Explore:
In the event of unforeseen circumstances or safety concerns, Kilimanjaro Explore reserves the right to cancel or reschedule hikes, tours, or safaris. Participants will be offered alternative dates or a full refund.
Participant Responsibilities
- Participants are responsible for their own safety during the hike or tour and must follow the instructions of the guides at all times.
- Participants must inform Kilimanjaro Explore of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions that may affect their participation.
- Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit and adequately prepared, including appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment.
Liability and Waiver
- Participation in adventure hikes, safaris, and tours involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, and encounters with wildlife.
- Participants are required to sign a liability waiver before participating, acknowledging and accepting these risks.
- Kilimanjaro Explore and its guides will take all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety but cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or losses.
Weather and Environmental Conditions
- Hikes, tours, and safaris are subject to weather and environmental conditions, which may affect the itinerary or require adjustments for safety.
- Kilimanjaro Explore reserves the right to modify or cancel activities in response to adverse weather or environmental conditions.
Equipment Rental
- Participants may rent hiking or safari equipment from Kilimanjaro Explore, subject to availability and additional charges.
- Participants are responsible for the care and safe return of rented equipment. Any damage or loss will incur repair or replacement fees.
Privacy Policy
- Kilimanjaro Explore respects the privacy of its customers and will not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
Code of Conduct
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly towards guides, fellow participants, and the environment.
- Any disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the hike or tour without refund.
By booking with Kilimanjaro Explore, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Kilimanjaro Explore reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time.
